Questions

The things readers ask us, answered without jargon.

What can I find on Cohorova?

Cohorova publishes free, plain-language clinical trial information. It is run by The Nelson M Group LLC.

Do you list studies I can join?

No. We do not list, recommend or recruit for any study. Public registries such as ClinicalTrials.gov list studies, and each study team handles its own questions.

Are the notes written by doctors?

They are written by our editors from public material and then checked against NIH and FDA publications. They are general information, not medical advice.

Are texts required?

No. Texts happen only if you opt in with two separate unchecked boxes. Sign-up works without either one.

Are you a medical provider, study team or recruiter?

Not at all. We write general guides about how research works. We run no studies and see no patients, and none of it is medical, legal or financial advice.

Can you tell me which study is right for me?

No. We do not recommend studies. A conversation with your own doctor is the right place for that, and our guides help you prepare questions.

Could a recruiter get my information from you?

No. We never give your information to recruiters, sponsors, sites or anyone who might want your participation. You can see exactly what we collect in the Privacy Policy.

How do I stop emails or delete my information?

Email [email protected] and we will remove you, or use the unsubscribe link in any message.

Which fields are required?

Only your first and last name, a topic and the privacy agreement. Email, mobile number and ZIP code are all optional.

How do I stop texts?

Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP if you need help. Email [email protected] if you would rather write.

How frequent are the messages?

Expect up to roughly 8 texts a month; message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.

What happens after I sign up?

You get information on the topic you pick, sent by email if you leave an address. Opt in to texts and short messages point you to the same guides.

Can you connect me with a study team?

No. We do not make introductions or referrals to sponsors, sites or recruiters.

Where do I go with a health concern?

To your own doctor, not to us. If it feels urgent, call 911.
